AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union expanded its service territory, adding Adams, Dauphin, Lebanon, Perry and York counties to its Cumberland County base. The expanded charter, granted by federal regulators last week, allows AmeriChoice to begin recruiting members in the five new counties. It previously held a “community charter” to serve only Cumberland County. AmeriChoice is headquartered in Upper Allen Township. Credit union officials hope to build one new branch in the expanded service territory within a year and plan to advertise AmeriChoice in the area, said spokesman Carol Fastrich.
