AllBetterCare has experienced tremendous growth, now boasting more than 27 full-time and part-time positions and having cared for more than 20,000 patients, according to a news release from Cumberland Area Economic Development Corp.
The new location at 1175 Walnut Bottom Road, South Middleton Township, will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a physician and physician’s assistant present at all times. Appointments are not required and registration can be completed online before arrival to minimize wait time.
The practice procured funding for the project from First National Bank and CAEDC. Total costs exceeded $2 million, including the purchase of the real estate, soft costs, construction and equipment.
“This project will create approximately 15 new full-time and part-time jobs and will fill a void in the Greater Carlisle area for urgent medical care to complement the emergency departments at the local hospital,” said Jonathan Bowser, director of economic development at CAEDC.
