A retail store that customers have already gone nuts for has moved into a new downtown York location.
Sarah’s Snacks, formerly known as Nuts About Granola LLC, has moved from 46 W. Philadelphia St., to 9 W. Philadelphia St., where it already housed its kitchen and production area.
In addition to Sarah’s Snacks’ products at the new location, customers can also purchase grab-and-go drinks, locally made artisan foods and ice cream.
To celebrate the move, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the new location. Sarah’s Snacks will also offer extended hours during First Fridays, opening from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Co-Owner and CEO of Sarah’s Snacks, Sarah Lanphier stepped into the world of granola as a project in college in 2009. Since then, the project has blossomed into a business that she runs alongside her mother, Gayle, who is a registered dietitian.
Sarah’s Snacks products are available at Target and Costco, and most recently, at Wegmans.
The store will be open during Market Days in York – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
