Stewart & Tate Construction of York said it has finished an addition to the Carlisle manufacturer’s campus after two years of work starting in 2013.
Carlisle Construction Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Charlotte, N.C.-based Carlisle Cos., enlisted the construction company for the project, which included addition of a 57,000–square-foot manufacturing building to the campus at 1285 Ritner Highway.
The new building connects two existing buildings and will house a new thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) line of roofing material.
The project also adds about 20,000 square feet of office space.
Other additions as part of the project are stormwater management ponds, a loop road to improve traffic flow and improvements to the railway system at the site.
Carlisle Construction Materials manufactures and distributes building products for both the commercial and residential markets.
Carlisle Cos. trades its stock on the New York Stock Exchange at CSL.
