Each year, the Business Journal recognizes the contributions that financial officers make to their companies, industries and communities in its annual Financial Executive of the Year Awards.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EVENT ATTENDEES
WHEN: Thursday, May 22, 2014 6:00pm-8:30pm
WHERE: York College of Pennsylvania Waldner Performing Arts Center in Humanities Building (GPS address: 441 Country Club Road, York, PA 17403)
PARKING: Upon arriving at campus, please follow the event signage and campus security officers’ directions to the approved "Commuter" parking areas.
6:00pm – 7:15pm: Networking reception with heavy appetizers and cocktails
7:30pm – 7:45pm: Welcome and opening remarks
7:45pm – 8:30pm: Awards program
8:30pm – 9:00pm: Dessert and coffee reception & special publication distributed
ATTIRE: Dress is business or cocktail attire (what you’d wear for a summer wedding)
MEN - a suit or dress pants and a jacket are appropriate
WOMEN - either a dress/professional suit or a cocktail dress is acceptable (long, floor-length evening gowns are too dressy.)
TICKETS: We did not issue tickets for the event. Instead, each registered attendee will have a name badge to collect at the event welcome desk that evening. A guest list at registration will also verify their attendance.
REFUNDS/SUBSTITUTES: There will be no refunds after May 19, 2014. If one of your registered attendees can no longer make it, you are welcome to send a substitute. Please email Jamie Mowery with the name change at email@example.com or call 717-236-4300.
ADDITIONAL ATTENDEES: A few seats are still available if you would like to register additional attendees. Please contact Jamie to make the necessary arrangements.
MEAL: The dinner portion of the event is a cocktail mixer with heavy hors d'ouevres served in place of a traditional meal. NOTE: food and drink WILL NOT be allowed inside the theater.
SEATING: As a networking/cocktail hour, there are no tables for the dinner. For the awards program inside the theater, seating will be general admission. Awards honorees will be asked to sit on an aisle seat for easy stage access, then guests may fill-in the row(s) beside and around them.
SPEECHES: In the interest of time, winners will not be asked to speak, but they will be asked to participate in a group photo at the end of the event.
