The 2014 Forty Under 40 winners will be recognized at an awards events and will be featured in a special publication to be inserted in the October 31st issue of the Central Penn Business Journal.


The closest garage is the Walnut Street Garage at the corner of Walnut Street and Court Street (an alley). If you bring your parking ticket with you to the event, you can stop by the Hilton's Business Center/Gift Shop (or front desk) for $5 discounted parking.

NOTE: The garage often gets very full. There are only two attendant stations at the exit, which becomes very busy when everyone leaves our event. Please expect a delay in both entering and exiting the garage.


6:00PM - Networking reception with heavy appetizers and cocktails

7:00PM - Theater opens

7:15PM - Welcome and opening remarks

7:30PM - Awards program

8:15PM- 9:00PM - Dessert Reception


Dress is business or cocktail attire

MEN - a suit or dress pants and a jacket are appropriate

WOMEN - either a dress/professional suit or a cocktail dress is acceptable (long, floor-length evening gowns are too dressy.)


Were NOT issued, nor will they be. Instead, each registered attendee will have a name badge to collect at the event welcome desk that evening. A guest list at registration will also verify their attendance.


We cannot offer refunds at this point. If one of your registered attendees can no longer make it, you are welcome to send a substitute. Please email me the replacement name, or we can switch out the name badge at the event.


A few seats are still available if you would like to register additional attendees. Please contact Jami Marsicano at to make the necessary arrangements.


As a networking/cocktail hour, there are no tables for the dinner. For the awards program, inside the theater, seating will be general admission. Award honorees will be asked to sit on an aisle seat for easy stage access, then guests may fill-in the row(s) beside and around them.


In the interest of time, winners will not be asked to speak, but they will be asked to participate in a group photo at the end of the event.
