The site of the former Charlie Brown's Steakhouse in Springettsbury Township will soon be home to two medical offices.

Plans for the 2860 Whiteford Road location include the construction of a 9,490-square-foot building, according to Adam Anderson, project manager for York-based Site Design Concepts Inc., the engineering firm for the project.

UPMC Pinnacle and Lower Allen Township-based Select Medical have already signed on as tenants, Anderson said, leaving 3,600 square feet for one or two additional tenants.

The former Charlie Brown’s building was demolished in fall 2018 and the foundation has been laid for the new building, he said. Anderson said that progress at the site has been slower than expected due to weather conditions, but he anticipates the work will be completed by this summer.

The project, spearheaded by Newberry Township-based MFL Realty LLC, was approved by the Springettsbury Township board of supervisors in July 2018, according to township meeting minutes.
