Apple Auto Park to expand after purchase of Dick's store
Apple Automotive Group plans to shift two of its car dealerships after the purchase of a vacant Dick's Sporting Goods property located next to Apple Auto Park on Route 30 in York County.
Apple Automotive Group plans to relocate its Honda dealership in fall 2019 from its current spot in the auto park to a new facility at the site of the former Dick’s Sporting Goods store. The store has been closed since October 2018.
The company plans to move its Nissan dealership, which is in Springettsbury Township, into the space left behind by the Honda dealership.
The auto park, located along Route 30 in West Manchester Township, is home to five new-car dealerships, a collision center, a parts distribution center and a car wash.
“With the enormous success of the auto park as a destination for our community’s car shopping and servicing needs, along with the continued growth of the Honda and Nissan brands, we needed to expand to continue delivering our promise of prompt, efficient service to our customers,” said Christopher Schrist, Apple Automotive president, in a news release.
Groundbreaking for the new Honda dealership is slated for fall 2019. Nissan will move to the auto park shortly thereafter.
Apple Automotive has 10 dealership sites in York County.
