Ambulance, wheelchair van service establishes location in York Township
An ambulance and wheelchair van service is setting up shop in York Township.
Health Transport Partners Inc. leased 3,570 square feet of space in an 18,273 square-foot office building at 150 Farm Lane. Dave Bode and Kevin Hodge of ROCK Commercial Real Estate brokered the transaction.
Health Transport, which is currently undergoing licensing through the state Department of Health and the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is slated to open within the next 60 days, said Ted Hake, president and CEO of Health Transport Partners.
Health Transport looked to the York Township location, Hake said, because the company saw unmet needs and delays in some patient transportation care.
"The space on Farm Lane is terrific for Health Transport Partners due to its optimal mix of office and garage space, close proximity to many of York’s health care facilities, ample parking, and the availability of additional space for expansion," Hake said in a statement.
The company has a fleet of six vehicles and will have up to 12 employees when it opens. It plans to offer non-emergency, scheduled services to and from health care and extended-care facilities in York and Adams counties.
