Armstrong World Industries Inc. has acquired a Canadian company that makes custom architectural cast ceilings and related products.

The Manor Township-based company said it has purchased Plasterform, based in Ontario, for an undisclosed sum. Plasterform has annual revenue of about $10 million.

Armstrong said Plasterform products, which are made of glass-reinforced gypsum, concrete and polyester resin, will continue to be sold in Canada, the U.S. and Latin America. But they will now be part of Armstrong's architectural specialties custom portfolio.

Shares of Armstrong stock are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol AWI. Armstrong World separated in April 2016 from Armstrong Flooring Inc.
