Manor Township-based Rettew named Juli Wolfe a transportation engineer. She will work from the Montgomery County office. She will focus on business development, existing and proposed client management and quality assurance. She has 24 years of engineering experience and was most recently a project manager with Los Angeles-based AECOM. She has a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. Michele Aukerman was named a civil engineer in the energy and environmental engineering group. She will work from the Centre County office and provide construction administration at treatment plant sites, engineering site developments for battery energy storage systems, feasibility studies for sewer services, and troubleshooting for wastewater treatment facilities. She was a project engineer for Uni-Tec Consulting Engineers Inc. She is a professional engineer and has a bachelor’s degree from Penn State. Michael Knouse was named a civil engineer in the civil and municipal group, He will work in the Mechanicsburg office and manages municipal clients and projects.  He was a project manager with ARRO Consulting Inc. He is a professional engineer and has a bachelor’s degree from Penn State. Mark Snider was named a senior designer in the survey group. He will work from the Ohio office. He was an engineering tech with JHA Cos. He has an associate degree from Belmont College.

Banking/finance

Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. named Chip Thrush a financial adviser with Lemoyne-based Granite, Logue & Associates. He has 20 years of financial services industry experience.

Gettysburg-based ACNB Bank named Mark P. Bernier senior vice president and wealth management officer in the Cumberland Township office. He will be responsible for ACNB Wealth Management and be program manager for retail brokerage and advisory services. He will continue in his investment management capacity for the bank’s trust and investment services clients. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine. Laura L. McCusker, Cheryl A. McVay, Gary W. Rappoldt and Merle J. Zehr were named first vice presidents. McCusker is community banking officer, leading and directing the performance of community banking. She has a bachelor’s degree from Towson University. McVay is treasury management manager, overseeing treasury management and developing and implementing products and services to help business customers manage their finances. She has a bachelor’s degree from Millersville University. Rappoldt and Zehr are regional commercial lending managers. Rappoldt works in the Cumberland Township office and focuses on the commercial banking needs of business customers in Adams, Cumberland and Franklin counties. He has a bachelor’s degree from York College. Zehr focuses on the commercial banking needs of business customers in the Hanover and York, areas and works from the Hanover office. He has a bachelor’s degree from Goshen College.

Susquehanna Township-based SevenBridge Financial Group named Clinton G. Smith III senior relationship manager. He will build and preserve client relationships. He was a senior manager with BDO. He is a CPA and has a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College.

Silver Spring Township-based R.S. Mowery & Sons Inc. named Seth Hughes vice president of preconstruction. He will oversee preconstruction-related activities, including internal design-build and estimating. He was director of logistics. He has a bachelor’s degree from Penn State and a certificate in OSHA 30-hour training. David Stansbury was named vice president of finance. He will direct the company’s financial and administrative activities. He was controller. He is a CPA and has a bachelor’s degree from Messiah College. Bill Sutton was named vice president of business development. He was project manager. He will respond to requests for proposals, develop company growth strategy and analysis, and ensure long-term business development plans. He is a commercial drone pilot, a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional, Building Design and Construction, has an OSHA 30-hour training certificate and has a bachelor’s degree from Catholic University of America.

Millersville University named Ieva Zake dean of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences effective July 1. She was vice-provost of The College of New Jersey. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Latvia, a master’s degree from Ohio State University and a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Government

Gov. Tom Wolf appointed Emmai Alaquiva of Allegheny County, Norman E. Stull of Bucks County, Catzie Vilayphonh of Philadelphia and Tim Warfield Jr. of York County to Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Alaquiva is CEO of Ya Momz House Inc., founder of Hip-Hop on L.O.C.K. and curator of OpticVoices. Stull is the founder and co-director of the Tri-County Conservatory of Music and music director of the Red Hill Community Band. Vilayphonh is a multimedia artist, spoken word poet, and community leader with a background in curating arts programming with immigrant and refugee-driven narratives. Warfield is a jazz musician, an artist-in-residence at Messiah College, an adjunct music faculty member at Temple University and a member of the Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia.

Insurance

Springettsbury Township-based McConkey Insurance & Benefits named Courtney Boyer administrative coordinator. She was employed with Out Door Country Club.

Law

Harrisburg-based Pennsylvania Bar Association named Kristen B. Hamilton a board member. She will represent lawyers in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties. She is employed with the Law Office of Eric J. Weisbrod PC in Chambersburg and is secretary of the Franklin County Bar Foundation. Brubaker Connaughton Goss & Lucarelli LLC named Steven Mauro CEO. He will oversee daily operations, help the firm set and implement strategy and explore new opportunities to expand the firm and its services. Previously, he was COO for other law firms. A CPA, he has a bachelor’s degree from Boston College, an MBA from Villanova University and a law degree from Widener University School of Law.

Lancaster-based Ecore named Michael Raley acoustic engineer. He will help the company grow and will create, modify and certify new and existing products. He was senior acoustical consultant with Daly-Standlee & Associates and Acoustics By Design. He has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.

Nonprofits

Lancaster-based Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity named Andrew Szalay executive director. He will oversee efforts to provide affordable homes for first-time homebuyers in Lancaster and Lebanon counties and expand initiatives for home repairs and renovations, neighborhood revitalization and community-wide educational efforts on housing-related issues. He was director of operations. He is an accredited mortgage professional and has a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College. Dee Cook, Jim Radick, Christian Recknagel, Mark Leiden and Angela Hammer were named board members. Cook is employed with Lebanon County Career and Technology Center, Radick with Fulton Financial Corp., Recknagel with Benchmark Construction Co. and Leiden with Thrivent Financial. Hammer is a vicar with St Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Harrisburg-based PennFuture named M. Travis DiNicola director of development. He will support the organization’s mission to lead the transition to a clean energy economy in Pennsylvania. He has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Penn State.

Real estate

Manor Township-based Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty named Jennifer Jones vice president of career development. She will work with the regional trainers to enhance career development and training programs. She was the agent services project director. She has a degree from Millersville University.

Manchester Township-based Investment Real Estate LLC named Kelly Richard property manager of the Moove In Self Storage locations in Berks and Montgomery counties. She will handle daily operations of both facilities. Previously, she oversaw store staging and the customer sales experience with a major retailer.

Senior care

Landis Homes named Michelle Rassler vice president of operations. She was CEO at Laurel View Village in Somerset County. She has an undergraduate degree from Cedar Crest College.

Technology

York-based Business Information Group named Allison Shanabrough the purchasing assistant. She will perform routine clerical, inventory and purchasing support and administrative functions. Lynn Peck was named sales and marketing assistant. She will provide administrative support to the sales and marketing team. Davalyn Hoock was named a software consultant. She will manage Viewpoint Vista software consulting engagements with clients.
