Lancaster County-based mechanical and electrical contracting company Haller Enterprises Inc. has opened a new branch office in Swatara Township in a bid to beef up service in the Harrisburg area.

The Manheim Township-based company said its new branch at 4330 Lewis Road is about 10,000 square feet. The new branch combines operations previously housed at branches in Cumberland and Lebanon counties into a larger space with a more centralized location.

The Dauphin County branch also gives Haller more room for staff. Haller's Mechanicsburg location in Cumberland had 30 employees, while its Palmyra branch in Lebanon had 18.

All employees have moved to the new branch while Haller is actively hiring for new positions at all its offices. In addition to the office in Swatara Township, the company has four other branches in Central and eastern Pennsylvania, including in Lancaster and York counties, as well as Bucks and Chester counties.

Haller has 374 employees overall. The company provides plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical and water conditioning services in both the residential and commercial markets.

Haller finished 2017 with $65.6 million in revenue, according to Business Journal records. That was up from $62.1 million in 2016.
