Video: Grand opening of Johnson Controls' new facility

By ,

Johnson Controls opened its new Advanced Development and Engineering Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 23.

The event welcomed dignitaries, business leaders and media for a tour of the state-of-the-art facility in Hopewell Township, York County.

The new complex, which includes a 250,000 square-foot test lab and support facility, and a 107,000 square-foot engineering office building, consolidates testing facilities that had been spread out at Johnson Controls’ other York County campus.

Johnson Controls purchased York County-based York International Corp., a manufacturer heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) products, in 2005.
