The thing Romeo J. Azondekon believes people would be most surprised to learn about him is that he came to the United States as a political refugee. As a kid, he wanted to be a fighter jet pilot. His first year of college, he walked into the wrong classroom — and today he considers this the best mistake of his life, because it led him to change his major from business to psychology. Knowing that he has a positive effect on the lives of those he serves is what keeps him motivated. He considers it his greatest success that he gets to wake up every day loving the work that he does. However, if he could do any other job for a day, he’d take that chance to be a fighter jet pilot. In his free time he enjoys painting, biking and visiting new places. For his 40th birthday, he would love to take a cross-country motorcycle trip.
