Andrew M. Otto’s parents claim the first thing he wanted to be was a banker, but he doesn’t remember that. What he does remember is wanting to be a pastor, like his dad. The best mistake he made was teaching middle school English, because by October of that school year, he decided he was done with teaching and called a friend to help him get an interview for a job at a bank. He is driven by a desire to be less self-interested and more concerned with what is best for others. The app he is most like is Google Maps: Clients tell Otto where they want to go and how they want to get there, and he tells them how long it will take and what obstacles will stand in the way. He is motivated by his 11-year marriage to his incredible wife and their two children, with a third on the way in October.
