Wellspan Urology expands into Hanover
Hanover has a new specialty medical option after an expansion by WellSpan Urology.
WellSpan Urology will now operate at 671 Wilson Ave. in the borough. The clinic will share space with WellSpan Medical Oncology & Hematology which moved there in December.
WellSpan Urology operates another location in North Cornwall Township in Lebanon County and one in Gettysburg.
Doctors joining the new location in Hanover include Dr. William Daiber and Dr. Eric Uhlman, both of whom were existing WellSpan Health physicians before joining the Hanover clinic .
Daiber is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Allentown Osteopathic Hospital. Uhlman graduated from the Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Temple University Hospital.
"We’re proud to bring this new service to Hanover in a patient-centered location that will support future expansion and improve access and convenience for our patients,” said Douglas Arbittier, vice president of oncology and surgery services at WellSpan Health.
The clinic is only the latest in a surge of new offerings by York County-based WellSpan. The health system also recently announced five new physicians in its network. They include:
Dr. Ghassan Abuhamad, who joined WellSpan Vascular Surgery in York Township.
Dr. Louise Djeumo, who joined WellSpan Pediatric Medicine - South George Street in York Township and WellSpan Pediatric Medicine - Red Lion in Windsor Township.

Dr. Hafiz Muslim, who joined WellSpan Pediatric Medicine - Joppa Road in York Township and WellSpan Pediatric Medicine - Shrewsbury in the borough of Shrewsbury.
The health network also opened a new urgent care center in Shrewsbury on Monday known as WellSpan Urgent Care.
The clinic marked the beginning of a brand consolidation by WellSpan Health, with WellSpan QuickCare and WellSpan ReadyCare locations across York, Adams, and Lancaster counties also adopting the name WellSpan Urgent Care this week. The name change will not affect WellSpan CareExpress locations.
