Allegheny County-based Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, which has a large presence in Central Pennsylvania, has named a new president for Pennsylvania.

Tom Ceponis, who has been a senior leader with the company for 30 years, is heading up the Pennsylvania region, effective Jan. 1. He replaced Greg Hammill, who was named senior vice president of operations.

Howard Hanna is the third-largest real estate firm in the country with 259 offices across eight states, including eight offices in Central Pennsylvania.

Ceponis will oversee 75 offices and more than 1,900 agents in Pennsylvania. He previously served as senior vice president and regional manager of the northern metropolitan Pittsburgh offices.

"We look forward to Tom working with third generation Howard W. 'Hoby' Hanna IV to take our Pennsylvania offices to the next level in 2018 and beyond," said Helen Hanna Casey, CEO of the company.

Howard Hanna is the largest home seller in Pennsylvania.
