Comcast rolls out faster internet speeds in Lebanon County

Comcast Corp. on Monday expanded its new 1 gigabit-per-second internet service to the Lebanon County area, following a broader midstate rollout over the summer.

The faster speeds are available to residential customers, according to Comcast.

The new service will cost $104.95 per month without a term contract. The promotional price will be $79.99 per month for 12 months.

Customers in the following areas will be able to get the gig-speed internet service:

  • City of Lebanon
  • North Lebanon
  • South Lebanon
  • West Lebanon
  • Fairfield
  • South Annville Township
  • Annville
  • Cleona
  • Jackson
  • Myerstown
  • North Cornwall
  • Jonestown
  • Heidelberg
  • Millcreek
  • Richland
  • Cornwall
  • West Cornwall
  • Union
  • Swatara
  • Bethel
  • South Londonderry
  • Mount Gretna
  • Elizabeth
  • North Annville
  • East Hanover
  • Clay
  • West Cocalico
  • Rapho
  • Pine Grove Township

The cost of this plan is what actually attracted me the first. We have to see how speedy these connections will be, but I donít think that it wonít a bad choice even if it doesnít deliver 1 Gbps at this price range.
