York County communications firm buys Milwaukee marketing company
A year after wrapping up a $1.9 million expansion of its home base, Anstadt Communications is adding to its footprint - this time through an acquisition.
York County-based Anstadt recently bought Central File Marketing, a Milwaukee company specializing in direct mail and other marketing campaigns for the rent-to-own industry, Anstadt's leaders said in a news release Monday.
The purchase adds a new industry to Anstadt's clientele and gives the company access to Central File's proprietary data management system. This system includes software that will let the company better target its clients' customers, according to the release, as well as Department of Defense-level security systems to protect customer data.
Anstadt will continue to market its new addition under the Central File Marketing name. The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the acquisition.
The purchase comes almost exactly a year after Anstadt wrapped up a $1.9 million, 18,000-square-foot expansion at its headquarters on Farmtrail Road in Manchester Township, and two years after it acquired Kurzenknabe Press in Harrisburg.
Anstadt is a fifth-generation family-owned company. It sells print and digital marketing products and services.
