Construction on the mixed-use $100 million Shoppes at Belmont project in Manheim Township is winding down and stores will soon start to open.

But Chick-fil-A will be the first to open at the Whole Foods-anchored shopping center, which is off Fruitville Pike and Route 30.

That is according to Lancaster County-based Manbel Devco, the developer of the site. Other Belmont partners include R.J. Waters & Associates and Charter Homes & Neighborhoods.

The fast-food chain is slated to open in January. Most of the other tenants will begin opening between March and May 2018, said Kevin Lahn of R.J. Waters.

The Shoppes at Belmont is 93 percent pre-leased, he said. Whole Foods will be joined by Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, Nordstrom Rack and Michaels.

In addition, leases have been signed for the "Main Street" portion of the center with Ulta Beauty, Rack Room Shoes, Lane Bryant, Carter's and OshKosh B'gosh. The center also will house Norman's Hallmark, the largest Hallmark dealer on the East Coast, and Finch Jewelers, a local specialty and custom jeweler. There will be a Yealy Optical and state Fine Wine & Good Spirits Shoppe.

Other dining options will include Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar, Jersey's Mike's, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, MOD Pizza, Zoe's Kitchen, The Pour House, Moe's Southwest Grill and Starbucks.

Here is a recent aerial video of construction from Ames Construction, a Lancaster County contractor leading the retail effort.

The residential portion of the project will include 74 townhomes and 13 single-family homes on about seven acres. Charter Homes has started construction on the first homes, which will be available for occupancy in January.

York County-based Springwood Hospitality also is building a new Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel at Belmont.
