A Cumberland County distribution center has changed hands for $24.8 million, according to commercial real estate firm CBRE Group.

CBRE handled the sale of 35 Dauphin Drive in Silver Spring Township. The 310,000-square-foot facility was purchased by an entity controlled by Hartz Mountain Industries, a New Jersey-based commercial real estate investor. The seller was New Jersey-based Matrix Development Group, according to county property records.

The property is located off the Carlisle Pike about three miles from Interstate 81 and four miles to the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The facility was fully occupied at the time of the deal. In marketing materials this summer, CBRE listed three global tenants — WEG Electric Corp., Häfele America Co. and Unipart Group.

CBRE's New York Institutional Properties team of Jeffrey Dunne and Jeremy Neuer represented the buyer. Brad Ruppel, Michael Hines and Brian Fiumara of CBRE's National Partners team represented the seller.
