Off The Clock: Rhoads Energy

Off the Clock loading
Lancaster-based Rhoades Energy, a family-owned fueling services business, celebrated its 100th anniversary July 19 by hosting a Lancaster Chamber Mixer with nearly 300 dignitaries, business and community leaders and guests. During the event, Rhoads Energy asked all attendees to recommend an area nonprofit, then randomly selected five to receive $100 American Express cards. Recipients included St. Jude Children's Hospital, Lancaster Public Library, Canine Partners for Life, Camp Conquest of Denver, Pa., and Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County. Above, Rhoads Energy CEO Michael DeBerdine III, center, receives a proclamation thanking the company for 100 years of service and community involvement from two Lancaster County Commissioners, Joshua Parsons, at left, and Craig Lehman, right.
