PFM Asset Management relocating in downtown Harrisburg
After 20 years at the corner of Front and Market streets in downtown Harrisburg, financial consulting firm PFM Asset Management is moving down the block.
The firm has signed a long-term lease to take up 63,133 square feet in the M&T Bank building at 213 Market St., a block to the east from its current location, according to a news release from real estate firm CBRE Group Inc., which arranged the lease.
A call to PFM was not immediately returned. The company's 150-plus employees are expected to move into the new office by the end of 2017, CBRE said. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
Built in 1989, the M&T Bank building is undergoing renovations. PFM will occupy floors 3 through 6 and floor 14. The firm is currently at 100 Market St. in a complex known as Keystone Plaza.
"This transaction represents PFM's long-term commitment to the city of Harrisburg as one of the leading businesses in the region," Jeremy Shyk, a first vice president at CBRE, said in a statement. "CBRE is proud to have acted on behalf of PFM in achieving their objectives, while delivering a market clearing deal."
The CBRE project management team has been hired to oversee logistics for the construction and move.
PFM offers financial advisory and consulting services to a range of organizations, including local, state, and regional governments, nonprofits other institutional clients.
It has offices in cities around the country, including Philadelphia and Malvern, Pa.
