Manufacturers' Association sets innovation theme for annual eventNominations sought for yearly awards
Innovate, or your business will die trying.
That will be the message April 26 as The Manufacturers' Association welcomes nationally known business innovator and best-selling author Doug Hall to speak at the association's 111th Annual Event.
The gathering will be held at The Pullo Center on the Pennsylvania State University York Campus.
It also will showcase the association's yearly awards ceremony, recognizing top companies in the categories of manufacturing innovator, community investor and manufacturer of the year. Nominations will be open until the close-of-business on April 5.
Companies nominated are required to be a member-in-standing of the Association, to be considered as a finalist in each category, and may be nominated by association members, business peers, chamber partners and others in the regional business community.
Nominee forms are attached which can be completed and returned by fax to 717-854-9445, or scanned and emailed to email@example.com.
The event will begin with a general reception at 4:30 p.m., followed by the main program starting at 6 p.m.
Hall is the author of seven business books on, as well as CEO and Founder of the Ohio-based EUREKA! Ranch and the Innovation Engineering Institute.
He has worked with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to develop products and services for firms such as Ford, Nike, American Express and Walt Disney.
Single tickets are $75, or $40 for students with valid school ID.
