David Nikoloff, former leader of a Lancaster County economic development group, is taking on a new role at Centric Bank.

Nikoloff recently joined the Lower Paxton Township-based bank as client relationship manager for the Lancaster market, the bank said in a news release Wednesday.

He previously co-founded AIM Advisors and served as vice president of development with Blackford Ventures, a Lancaster County-based private equity firm. He was also president of the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County from 1991 to 2014.

"I enjoy working with business people and helping them achieve their business goals. That is what community bankers do, and Centric Bank is a community bank whose leadership fully embraces that mission," Nikoloff said.

In the newly created position of client relationship manager, Nikoloff will help Centric develop business relationships in the Lancaster area.

The bank, which opened a commercial lending office in West Hempfield Township this past April, is one of several financial institutions chasing opportunities in Lancaster County in the wake of recent bank mergers.
