Jenna R. Earley describes herself as competitive, and others may or may not be surprised to learn that she completed her master’s degree in a single calendar year. She recalls filling out an application for graduate school, in fact, as the best mistake she’s made.

At age 15, Earley’s first job was at Karns Quality Foods, where she worked as a cashier and learned how, regardless of age or title, work ethic and attitude are vital to success. She remains motivated daily by the knowledge that her actions and commitment to her work make her a positive role model for her son. Earley considers learning from him to be one of her biggest successes.

In five years, Earley hopes to be working as a representative in the education field, ideally lobbying on behalf of teachers and children. In her free time, she can be found playing golf, working out and playing with her son. She hopes to spend her 40th birthday traveling to New Zealand or France.
