Here's something to howl over.

York-based Wolf Home Products has unveiled a new logo as part of a rebranding effort to emphasize its "independent streak and its commitment to independent building materials dealers."

The company, which supplies kitchen and bath, outdoor living and building products, is now represented by a stylized W over its signature howling wolf silhouette.

"Wolf has successfully established itself as a leading supplier of American-made products available through independent dealers. Our Wolf-branded product lines have enabled us to rapidly expand our geographical footprint," President and CEO Craig Danielson said. "This is the ideal time to introduce a new look-and-feel that represents the spirit of a company on the move."

Wolf Home Products was launched in 2012, as parent company The Wolf Organization Inc. looked to create a new division to oversee its Wolf-branded product lines for professional contractors and serious do-it-yourselfers.

In 2013, Tom Wolf, a sixth-generation member of the company's founding family, announced his retirement in order to run for governor of Pennsylvania. He was elected to the post in November 2014.

Danielson, who has been with the company since 1993, was named to succeed Wolf in January 2014.

Wolf Home Products delivers Wolf-branded lines and other cabinetry and building materials to more than 4,000 dealers.
