Alex S. Cistone, 30 U.S. Lawns of York and Adams, Managing Partner
Alex S. Cistone is motivated to develop and maintain enduring and trustful relationships with clients, employees and colleagues. He is passionate about both the working dynamics of nature and working with clients, which blossomed in his first job at a small landscaping company. Cistone loved the work and started his own landscape business immediately following high school graduation, maintaining the business during college while studying ornamental horticulture.
In addition to landscape architecture, Cistone also likes architecture, especially older buildings constructed without modern equipment or tools. Given a sabbatical, he’d spend his time traveling the world studying and visiting historical sites and architecture. During his free time, he enjoys volunteering with local civic groups, exploring, traveling and spending time outside riding horses, hiking, kayaking and fishing. Cistone’s advice to others is “everyone makes mistakes; never let yesterday use up too much of today.”
