High Hotels opening TownePlace Suites in Cumberland County

By ,

High Hotels Ltd., an affiliate of the High Real Estate Group LLC, is slated to open a 120-suite TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Lower Allen Township next week.

The $15 million TownePlace Suites Harrisburg West/Mechanicsburg, which broke ground last October, is located at 4915 Ritter Road in the Rossmoyne Business Park. It will open on Oct. 30, according to High Hotels.

The extended-stay property was designed by Greenfield Architects Ltd. and built by High Construction Co., both affiliates of High Real Estate Group. It features studio, one- and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens that have stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, as well as separate living, working and sleeping areas.

Other hotel amenities include a heated indoor saltwalter pool, a 24-hour exercise room, a meeting room, wireless Internet and on-site business services, such as copying, faxing and printing.

It is the 13th hotel for the East Lampeter Township-based company.

High Hotels’ portfolio includes properties in Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. That is made up of the following brands: Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, SpringHill Suites by Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott.

Two of those properties — a Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites — are adjacent to the TownePlace Suites.
