The firm that has franchise rights to Dunkin' Donuts in several southcentral Pennsylvania counties is looking to open more shops.
Kings Point Ventures LLC is working with Bennett Williams Realty Inc. to find locations for the doughnut purveyor in York, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Adams and Franklin counties, said Brad Rohrbaugh, vice president of retail for Bennett Williams.
In an email blast that also was tweeted from Bennett Williams’ account, the realtor said it was seeking locations of 1,800 to 2,200 square feet. The buildings could be free-standing or an endcap with a drive-through. The site also should have strong morning traffic patterns and good visibility.
The shops would have a minimum of five employees and need to be in a market of at least 4,000 people, according to the email.
A phone call to Kings Point Ventures, based in Mount Vernon, N.Y., was not immediately returned.
The email and tweet are a marketing technique Bennett Williams is using not only to get the word out about the Dunkin’ Donuts search, but also to lure potential clients.
“We’re getting bombarded,” Rohrbaugh said after the email and tweet were sent Monday. “We’re just getting the awareness out there. I think you’ll see more to come from retailers we represent.”
