Midstate architectural firms crack top 300 list

East Pennsboro Township-based Gannett Fleming Inc., one of the midstate's largest private companies based on revenue, jumped 30 spots on Architectural Record's top 300 architecture firms list.

Gannett Fleming, which finished 2013 with $326.3 million in total revenue, posted $7.6 million in architectural revenue. It came in at No. 251, up from No. 281 in 2012.

York-based Buchart Horn Inc./Basco Associates, which reported $32.1 million in total revenue, finished 2013 with $11.1 million in architectural revenue. It came in at No. 202 on the list, which was up 36 spots, according to Architectural Record.

Crabtree Rohrbaugh & Associates Inc., based in Upper Allen Township, was No. 149 on the list. That was down from No. 137 in 2012. The firm posted $16.1 million in architectural revenue.

Combined total architectural revenue from the top 300 firms increased to $11.2 billion in 2013 from $10 billion in 2012, according to Architectural Record. The monthly magazine is a sister publication to Engineering News-Record, which is owned by McGraw Hill Construction.
