Four employees recently were given awards at WellSpan Philhaven's annual medical staff meeting in Mt. Gretna. Dr. Jeremy Walters, an adult psychiatrist; Thomas Crotty, a psychologist; and Lisa Gerard, a registered nurse, all were awarded the Francis C. Maust Service Award. The award is given to staff members who demonstrate the attributes of teaching, mentoring, leading, listening, caring, advocating, doing what is right and serving. Ruthann Dwyer, a chaplain and manager of pastoral services, received the Seeds of Hope Award, which is given to a staff member who nurtures healing and provides soul care for patients, families and staff.
