Members 1st adds another branch in Lancaster County

By

Members 1st Federal Credit Union of Lower Allen Township plans to open its 60th branch this month in Millersville.

The new branch at 377 Comet Drive will hold a grand opening celebration Aug. 18. It will be the company’s ninth branch in Lancaster County, and the third in the county it’s opened in the last year. It opened one in Elizabethtown in October, and another in Ephrata in November.

All nine Members 1st Lancaster County branches have opened in about the last three years. President and CEO Bob Marquette said last year the credit union has made Lancaster County expansion a priority.

The bank also has branches in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, Perry and York counties. It has 263,000 members and is the second-largest credit union based in the region, behind only PSECU.
