Heart of Lancaster Regional, CPRS Physical Therapy partner on new outpatient center
Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center and CPRS Physical Therapy have opened a new outpatient therapy center in Warwick Township.
The facility is at 1535 Highlands Drive, directly across from the hospital -- which is adjacent to Traditions of America at Lititz, a planned 244-home 55-plus community. Traditions is expected to welcome its first residents in September and has drawn strong interest.
According to a news release, HLRMC began partnering with CPRS a year ago with an outpatient office in the hospital and "due to the increase in patient volume, a much larger space was needed, warranting the move."
“CPRS Physical Therapy is honored to be a part of the Lititz community," said Jerry Rush, CPRS regional vice president and director of therapy services at HLRMC. "We have been humbled by the warm response that we have received.”
The 2,500-square-foot new office offers physical, occupational, speech and pediatric therapy and has private treatment rooms and a large exercise area, the organizations said. The campus, developed and constructed by Buckwalter Construction Inc., includes two other suites; Heartland Family Health opened in April and Plastic & Aesthetic Surgical Associates is expected to open in September, according to HLRMC spokeswoman Amanda Brunish.
Brunish noted that plastics is a new service line for HLRMC and that Heartland had been located just down the road at 1575 Highlands Drive and had also outgrown its space.
According to its website, CPRS is an employee-owned company with locations in eight Central Pennsylvania counties.
