Midstate has more bounce for the ounce with new trampoline park
Central Pennsylvania must be the place to bounce: Another indoor trampoline park is set to open in the Harrisburg area.
Get Air Harrisburg LLC has rented 24,300 square feet at the Union Square Shopping Center, 3901 Union Deposit Road, Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County.
The shopping center is owned by Union Square Shopping Center LP, LMS Commercial Real Estate spokeswoman Kelly Christensen said. The center is anchored by Weis Markets and Gabriel Brothers.
Terms of the lease, arranged by LMS’s Wilay Boensch, were not disclosed.
Get Air is composed of a group of individually owned trampoline parks, according to the company’s website.
“After getting their parks up and running they realized that there was a general lack of tools, processes and trained people needed to run their operations,” the website states. “They also saw that clerical and operational functions could be shared among multiple parks which could decrease the operating costs and ensure efficiency. From that concept, Get Air Management was born.”
The parks are scattered mostly in the West, with locations in Washington state, California, Utah and Kansas. However, there is a location in King of Prussia.
A phone message and an email seeking comment were not immediately returned.
Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park planned to open two locations this summer in the midstate, one in Cumberland County and the other in Lancaster County.
