Businesses featured this week: Millersville University, Milton Hershey School, York College

Millersville University named Nancy Pruskowski associate vice president for finance and administration. She was executive director of budget and internal audit with Bucks County Community College. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York and an MBA from Villanova University.

Derry Township-based Milton Hershey School named Peter G. Gurt president. He was senior vice president and chief operating officer. He also is a Milton Hershey graduate and president of the alumni campus advisory board. He has a bachelor of business administration degree from Temple University and a master of education degree from Penn State University. John Estey, who was interim president, will continue as executive vice president of administration with Hershey Trust Co.

York College named Karin Swartz assistant director of the York College Fund. She was a legislative assistant to state Rep. Kevin Schreiber and a resident director with the school. She has a bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College and a master’s degree in higher education from the University of Pennsylvania.
