'America's Best' list out for real estate agents

By

Who are the top residential real estate agents in the country?

In partnership with Trulia, Colorado-based Real Trends Inc., a private publishing and communications firm that specializes in residential real estate, has released its 2014 version of “America’s Best Real Estate Agents.”

More than 9,500 agents from every state are featured. To be included on the lists, agents must have closed at least 50 transactions or $20 million in sales volume.

Sales teams needed at least 75 closed sides or $30 million in sales volume.

In Pennsylvania, 16 of the top 100 agents on the individual list are from Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties. Cumberland and Lancaster counties each have five.

Anne Lusk of Prudential Lancaster Real Estate was No. 2 in the state with 191.95 transactions and $64.8 million in sales volume.

There are five midstate agents on the individual volume list, which has 25 agents total.

The team transaction list has 13 midstate groups, including nine from Lancaster County, while just four local teams made the list for sales volume.

Metropolitan area lists are also available for certain regions, including Harrisburg-Carlisle and Lancaster County.

Thanks for the list and information. Just a note so all are aware, this is not an actual ranking for all agents in the State of PA, this is done by applications and agents that submit information. If an agent doesn't submit their information they are not included in the rankings. So your local agent that is consistent with business may not be included simply due to the fact that they have not received an application. Best to ask for the MLS information on the agent's production to get a clear picture if this is a concern to you. Happy selling!
