The Lebanon Valley's branding campaign has netted a new logo, website and guide to the region's attributes, all of which will be publicly unveiled later this month.
The 13-page branding guide, available on the new website, includes information and statistics on quality of life, education and the workforce.
It even contains a suggested quote for people to describe the Lebanon Valley:
“Pennsylvania’s Lebanon Valley is a great area to live and work. It’s a beautiful place with a more comfortable pace, yet has easy access to major cities, the state capital, as well as nearby Hershey, Lancaster, Reading and Gettysburg. There are excellent schools, high-quality medical facilities and plenty of recreational and cultural options. The cost of living is low, and it offers a great workforce and environment for business. I really enjoy the Lebanon Valley.”
There are two logos, a primary logo and an optional logo, both designed by Bachleda Advertising LLC of Heidelberg Township. Company President Michael Bachleda is a member of the task force that devised the new materials.
The 11-person task force formed by the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce set out last year to rebrand the county’s image with a unified identity to market the region to visitors, businesses and residents.
The chamber formed the task force after its strategic planning process completed last fall identified the lack of a strong brand image as a significant hurdle for the area to attract new businesses, employees and residents.
The chamber will hold the unveiling at 4 p.m. July 30 at the Mund College Center at Lebanon Valley College. The public is invited.
