Three familiar names in the midstate real estate market are once again among the nation's best.

The 2014 version of The Thousand — a list from Colorado-based Real Trends and The Wall Street Journal of the top 1,000 residential agents and teams, broken into four top 250 categories — includes one individual and two teams from Dauphin and Lancaster counties.

Anne Lusk with Prudential Lancaster Real Estate was No. 127 for transaction sides by sales professionals with 191.95. There are two sides in every sale: the buyer's agent and the seller's agent. In some transactions, agents might handle both sides.

She was No. 206 on individual sales volume with $64.8 million in 2013.

On the teams list, Joy Daniels and the Susquehanna Township-based Joy Daniels Real Estate Group came in at No. 86 with 381 sides. The Craig Hartranft team, part of the former Prudential Homesale Services Group (now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty), was No. 165 with 294 sides.

By volume, Joy Daniels was No. 196 with $84.8 million.

The list designees closed 155,193 sides and more than $58 billion in sales volume in 2013 — a new record, according to Real Trends. Last year, those figures were 140,955 sides and more than $50.1 billion.

Real Trends will launch the 2014 version of its “America’s Best Real Estate Agents” list on July 8. Check out where local agents and firms ranked last year.
