York County-based nonprofit Hanover Hospital has introduced MyHealthPortal, an online system that allows patients to view test results and medications, update personal information and view appointments.

According to the hospital's website, enrolling in the portal requires the patient's Hanover Hospital medical record number and having the patient's personal email address on file in the electronic medical record.

For assistance with those issues, patients may contact the Health Information Management Department at 717-316-3700, weekdays 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Hanover Medical Group, which is associated with the hospital, has its own portal, which contains some but not all of the same information, according to the hospital.
