A pair of former Wells Fargo and Co. financial advisers have gone on their own and opened a wealth management office in York County.
Chris Johnson and Tim White opened Johnson and White Wealth Management LLC in late May with a team of six employees.
The people the two brought with them have been working together for more than a decade, according to a news release from Rock Commercial Real Estate LLC.
The real estate company helped Johnson and White lease the 2,395-square-foot office space at 2951 Whiteford Road in Springettsbury Township.
“Looking into the future, we feel that we can better serve the evolving needs of our clients as an independent enterprise,” White said. “Customization and agility are attributes of the independent adviser that we feel are competitive advantages over our brethren at larger institutes. As an independent firm, we are laser-focused on the families we serve and not burdened by the broader mandates and constituencies of larger organizations.”
Three of the firm's members are wealth advisers — and certified financial planners — and the other three are relationship managers.
