York-based Kinsley Construction finished construction on a 129-room Courtyard by Marriott in Glassboro, N.J., that will be managed by Shaner Hotel Group of State College. The four-story hotel anchors the gateway to Rowan Boulevard, a $300 million revitalization linking Rowan University to the borough's downtown retail district. The hotel includes an indoor heated pool and whirlpool spa, an outdoor courtyard with a gas fire pit, a fitness center, a redesigned bistro café and 5,000 square feet of meeting rooms and banquet facilities. The lobby features an interactive digital information center with maps, weather and headline news on a 55-inch LCD touch screen. Guests will be able to touch the screen to access flight information for airports, entertainment and events, and walking directions, as well as send directions to their smartphones.
