Charter Homes selling final phase of York Township neighborhood

By

Lancaster-based Charter Homes & Neighborhoods has announced the final phase of its Chanticleer neighborhood in York Township, which includes 19 home sites.

Chanticleer is a hilltop neighborhood with woodland vistas, located a few miles from the Queen Street exit of Interstate 83. Ten homes have already been built in the Dallastown Area School District community.

Prices for the new offerings are between $470,000 and $530,000.

The single-family homes feature a first-floor owner’s retreat and full brick exteriors. The homes range from 2,675 square feet to 3,232 square feet, though structural options could push them to 5,000 square feet, said Rebecca Fowler, a Charter spokeswoman.

The neighborhood boasts maintenance-free living and private lanes.

Charter finished last year with $92.2 million in revenue, according to Business Journal records. That was up from $76.6 million in 2012.
