North Lebanon Township-based Tri-Valley Contractors Inc. unveiled a renovated design center Thursday at a ribbon-cutting ceremony held by the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The concept is a one-stop shop for consumers planning any custom home or renovation project, said Clyde Patches, president and owner of the Lebanon County company he founded in 1986.
Tri-Valley moved to 1501 E. Cumberland St. seven years ago. The custom home builder opened the design center six year ago.
“We’ll not only do the plans, we also have in-house drafting. We can do all of the selections here at one place,” Patches said.
Patches recently added an employee and plans to add another to the 10-person company.
With a dip in home construction since the recession, Tri-Valley has become more of a general contractor. At its peak, the company built 50 homes per year. The goal is 10 to 12 this year, Patches said.
“Our forte is new home construction, but our budget and sales goals are pretty much half and half,” he said, referring to remodeling work and home additions. “We have a couple large additions going on. We’re anticipating a few more.”
Tri-Valley primarily works in Berks, Dauphin, Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
