Caskey Group LLC, a York-based communications services firm, has acquired Martin Design Group LLC, the two companies announced this week.

Martin Design, which was based in West Manheim Township, had been a partner on various Caskey projects for more than three years. It is now a division of Caskey.

Caskey's in-house services now include vehicle wraps, wide-format sign and banners, and indoor and outdoor signage. The merger also expanded its graphic design, Web and search engine optimization solutions and promotional product offerings.

"When the opportunity presented itself to merge services, we saw a positive opportunity for our clients," said Tony Rife, Caskey's president.

Martin Design now offers in-house offset and digital printing, variable data printing, full-service direct mail, strategic marketing and branding services, media relations and copywriting.

"Expanding into Caskey Group allows Martin Design clients to plan and implement all their integrated marketing communications through us," said Jason Martin, Caskey's creative director and former Martin Design president. "I see it as positive growth for 2014."

Martin Design has moved into Caskey's office on Vogelsong Road.

Detriot, MI is the current long term template for unfunded pension liability, unfortunately. Lawmakers and employees need to take a hard look at themselves and understand that you will eventually hit the wall without action. If the value of work can be outsourced to the private sector without a future that not the current market value for a basis of discussion.
