East Pennsboro Township-based Gannett Fleming Inc. has named Jon Kessler its vice president and CFO, the company announced this week.
Kessler, formerly the finance director, replaces Lynn Knepp, who retired as CFO at the end of last year.
With more than 30 years of financial leadership experience, Kessler has served as CFO and chief administrative officer for firms in the real estate and hospitality industries.
In his new role, he will manage the financial aspects of the firm, including planning, structure and reporting. He also oversees the company's investments, financial and accounting policies, cost and profitability analysis, acquisition analysis and transactions, foreign and domestic tax reporting, and ongoing financial modeling, including short- and long-term financial forecasts.
Kessler earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Delaware.
Gannett Fleming, a global infrastructure firm, employs 552 local full-time employees. The company reported 2013 revenue of $326.3 million, according to Business Journal records. That was up from $313.7 million in 2012.
