Real Estate Mortgage Network Inc. has a new name.

The privately led non-bank lender with three midstate locations announced Monday it has changed its name to HomeBridge Financial Services Inc.

The name change for the Iselin, N.J.-based business was made to reflect its focus on making the home mortgage process easier for customers, according to a company news release.

"We believe it is a smart move, particularly for our retail mortgage segment, because it directly correlates to what we do for home buyers, home owners and housing industry professionals — we provide a bridge to fulfilling the American dream of home ownership," said Peter Norden, CEO of HomeBridge.

The company has three midstate locations in Lower Paxton Township in Dauphin County, York and Chambersburg.

It was started in 1989 and has 1,300 associates in 70 retail branches. The three midstate branches have six associates, according to the HomeBridge website.
