A Lancaster-based business that joined the CLEAResult family of companies in 2012 has begun operating under that name.

The business has 16 additional offices across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia and Texas and was formerly known as eic|ComfortHome.

"eic|ComfortHome has a long history of helping builders, architects, general contractors, property managers and light commercial owners streamline new and existing building projects through our consulting and contracting services," said Ed Carr, former president of eic|ComfortHome and now vice president of CLEAResult's Mid-Atlantic Business Unit. "We bring a specialization in working with utilities to deliver energy efficiency services to limited income families. By uniting under the CLEAResult banner, we are delighted to be able to offer an expanded roster of services and experience to our clients."

CLEAResult, based in Austin, Texas, designs and implements energy efficiency programs for utilities and their customers. It has experienced significant growth, bringing its total number of employees to more than 1,200 in more than 40 locations across the United States and Canada.

As an example, utilizing utility incentives in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, eic|ComfortHome, now CLEAResult, has certified more than 120,000 homes, audited more than 12,000 homes, and weatherized more than 10,000 single and multifamily homes in the Mid-Atlantic region.
