T&M Associates, a New Jersey-based engineering, planning and environmental consulting firm, opened a Lancaster County office today, at 1853 William Penn Way in East Lampeter Township.
“This expands our reach in the commonwealth and will allow us to better serve clients in key local markets like Lancaster, Harrisburg, York, Lebanon and Reading,” Gary Dahms , T&M’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
T&M will use the new office to provide regulatory compliance, planning, permitting, engineering design, construction management and energy consulting services to transportation, water, educational/institutional, local government, power and utilities, health care and commercial development clients throughout the region.
The company will initially staff four people at the new office. It expects to eventually employ 10 to 20 people in Lancaster County, said Russ Reardon, a company spokesman.
T&M, which has offices in Bethlehem, Fairless Hills, Plymouth Meeting and Sayre, does about 10 percent of its overall business in Pennsylvania, he said.
“Our practice in eastern Pennsylvania is a lot stronger,” Reardon said. “We’re starting to make that push into central PA.”
The company consistently ranks in the top half of Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 design firms.
