Businesses featured this week: Pa. Department of General Services, Pennsylvania State Police

Pennsylvania Department of General Services named Andrew Lick a real estate coordinator with its real estate bureau. He is a licensed broker with seven years of commercial real estate experience and a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami.

Gov. Tom Corbett named Lt. Col. Timothy J. Mercer deputy commissioner of administration and professional responsibility with the Pennsylvania State Police. He will oversee the human resources, professional standards and training and education bureaus, as well as discipline and equal employment opportunity offices and the member-assistance program. He is a 25-year state police veteran and most recently was director of the patrol bureau. He has a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice from Penn State University and graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va.
